Just in time for Christmas, your hosts Tim Watts and Michael O'Connell join special guest Vlado Zeravica to talk about The Road,
both the 2006 Cormac McCarthy novel and the 2009 motion picture
adaptation starring Viggo Mortensen. It is dark. It is depressing.
It is bleak. Much like many of the family gatherings going on this
holiday season! Join the Post-Apodaclypse gang as they dissect this brilliant piece of post-apocalyptic introspection.

Episode 9: Run, Runner!
Welcome to the 23rd century, where humanity survives in a great domed city and lives for nothing but pleasure and contentment. But all the free love and partying and good vibrations come at a cost - when the crystal embedded in your palm starts blinking red on your 30th birthday, it's time to report to the ritual of Carousel and have your life terminated. But don't worry! There's a good chance you'll be resurrected ("renewed") and born again! Or IS there?
In the 1976 sci-fi classic film, Logan's Run, Michael York plays a Sandman, one of the hedonistic city's cops who hunt down those who try to flee their fate - those known as "runners". But he finds himself wrapped up in a web of intrigue and conspiracy, forced to go on the run himself, and to find answers to questions he'd never dared ask in his perfect life.
Hosts Tim Watts and Michael O'Connell will walk (or run) you through the whole experience on this latest edition of Post-Apodaclypse. So put yourself on the circuit and tune in today. Renew!!!

Episode 8: You Say You Want a Revolution
On this episode of Post-Apodaclypse, your hosts (Tim Watts and Michael O'Connell) jump back in to NBC's certified hit series Revolution to take a look at what's been happening since episode three up through the mid-season break. Our band of reluctant post-apocalyptic heroes have continued on their journey, tragedy has struck, more backstory has been revealed, more information on that current state of the former United States has been laid out, and everything has built up to a big see-you-back-this-March crescendo. Do they find Danny? Do Miles and Monroe face each other again? Will more surprise guest-stars make you go, "Hey! It's that guy!"? Will Charlie cry some more? Lots of answers and plenty of sword fights await you.

Episode 7: Walking Dead Again
Hosts Tim Watts and Michael O'Connell carve into the latest Post-Apodaclypse episode with an update on what's been going down on AMC's The Walking Dead since the last episode on the subject. They take a look at the season 3 eps 2-6, which were all ridiculously eventful (here comes da fatalities!), gripping, heartbreaking, action-packed and filled with great nerd-out moments for fans of the comic. The Governor, did you say?
So finish your dinner, put on your stretchy pants, and unwind some hot undead action. PLEASE NOTE: due to scheduling needs, there will be no episode next week. Post-Apodaclypse will return on Tuesday, December 4th, when Tim and Michael turn the update spotlight on NBC's Revolution.
Until then, we wish you a very happy Thanksgiving! We hope your bunker's filled with family and food and friends. Plus, some grenades wouldn't be a bad idea...

Episode 6: Take "The Stand"
The 1978 Stephen King novel titled "The Stand" came in at over 800 pages and blew the minds of lovers of both fiction and of post-apocalyptic fiction. Considered one of King's crowning accomplishments, it was re-released in 1990 in a complete and uncut version, this time weighing in at nearly 1200 pages. In 1994, after years of dispute and typical Hollywood development hell scenarios, the story was finally adapted for the screen in an 8-hour TV miniseries by ABC.
Dealing with both the end of the world by pandemic (the "superflu") and a theological good-vs-evil struggle with the last remnants of mankind, The Stand has become one of the seminal works in the genre. But how will hosts Tim Watts and Michael O'Connell feel about both the book and the TV adaptation? Tune in to this latest edition of Post-Apodaclypse to find out.
Also on iTunes.

Episode 5: SyFy Zombie Crapfest
Right around Halloween, the SyFy Channel gave us a double-feature of zombie apocalyptic action, putting 2011's Zombie Apocalypse (starring Ving Rhames) right before the premiere of the new "blockbuster" called Rise of the Zombies (starring Mariel Hemmingway and Levar Burton). Post-Apodaclypse hosts Tim Watts and Michael O'Connell took it upon themselves to wade through these offerings and see if they could really be as bad as they looked. Find out in this special post-Halloween episode.
