Episode 12: Costnerworld

The post-apocalyptic film genre doesn't often get the big budget/big name treatment in Hollywood. In the 1990's, one man set out to change that. His name was Kevin Costner. In 1995 he birthed Waterworld, which, due to many unfortunate factors, became (at that time) the most expensive film ever made. He followed this up in 1997 with The Postman (based on the novel by David Brin), which failed to deliver at the box office (get it?).
