Episode 11: The Road less traveled (because everyone's dead)

Just in time for Christmas, your hosts Tim Watts and Michael O'Connell join special guest Vlado Zeravica to talk about The Road, both the 2006 Cormac McCarthy novel and the 2009 motion picture adaptation starring Viggo Mortensen.   It is dark.  It is depressing.  It is bleak.  Much like many of the family gatherings going on this holiday season!  Join the Post-Apodaclypse gang as they dissect this brilliant piece of post-apocalyptic introspection.

  1. I think this is the best episode yet, keep up the good work.

Regarding the mom, in the book she says "I'd take him with me if it werent for you. You know I would. It's the right thing to do."

So yes, she is still abandoning her son by leaving, but only because taking him with her is not an option.
