Episode 1: The Beginning of the End

The first episode of Post-Apodaclypse is now live.  We get the party started with an introduction to your hosts (Tim Watts and Michael O'Connell) and how they came to love the post-apocalyptic sub-genre of science fiction (and at a very young age).  We delve into some of the major tropes and themes of post-apoc, the history of story-telling within it, and what some of the many types of mankind's near-demise it uses are.  Also, why the presence of both boobs and monkeys tend to make all these tales better.  Hope you enjoy the first, and number two will be dropping next week.  If the last part of that sentence made you snicker, you're our kind of people.

Please note that iTunes availability is pending, so you should be able to find this and subsequent eps there in just a few days, if that's what turns you on.

  1. Mike and Tim, enjoyed the first show! This has lots of potential. I few ideas popped into my head (film: Logan's Run (sort of fits) and comics: Kamandi from DC from the 70's).

    1. An excuse to rewatch Logan's Run? Yes, please! And thanks for the reminder on Kamandi. We want to do an ep just on post-apoc comics, and definitely wouldn't want to leave that one out. Glad you liked it so far!
